The Crest of the college,
conceived through spheres and circles, symbolizes the quest for enlightenment
and perfection. At its heart, is the undying flame emitting light of knowledge
that illuminates the minds of the Alma-mater. The fluttering pages with quill
and inkhorn, the sailing ship with precious cargoes on it, with their emphasis
on peace, progress and prosperity represent the faculties of Arts, Science and
Commerce respectively. (there is no light like wisdom) from the Buddhist
Scripture is the motto that forms the base on which the edifice stands.
